You don’t need professional drawings or engineering plans. A strong explanation and a napkin sketch are enough. We’re looking for the idea that makes our entire shop say, “We have to build that.”

We choose it
KPB selects three finalists. The public vote counts for 10%; originality, buildability, and creative potential decide the rest.
We build it
The winner is announced November 30. Our crew designs and fabricates the one-of-one build throughout December.
You keep it
We reveal the finished piece, document the process, and deliver the winning build to the person who dreamed it up.

GOOD.
Does my idea need professional drawings?
No. Clear words and a rough sketch are enough. We care about the idea, not your drafting ability.
Can I submit an existing character or branded product?
No direct copies of copyrighted characters, logos, artwork, or commercial products. Send us something original.
What will KPB not build?
No weapons, dangerous or illegal devices, road vehicles, permanent structures, medical products, or concepts requiring certification or long-term safety testing.
Who owns the idea?
You retain ownership of your original idea. Your entry gives KPB permission to review and feature it, and to adapt and build the winning concept for this campaign. Any future commercial product requires a separate agreement.
Does the most popular finalist win?
No. Public voting counts for 10% of the score. KPB makes the final choice using the published judging criteria.
How do I receive the finished build?
KPB includes pickup, delivery, or freight up to $750 within the contiguous United States. See the Official Rules for full details.
